SV	De steden nu braken zij af, en een iegelijk wierp zijn steen op alle goede stukken lands, en zij vulden ze, en stopten alle waterfonteinen, en velden alle goede bomen, totdat zij in Kir-hareseth [alleen] de stenen daarvan lieten overblijven; en de slingeraars omsingelden en sloegen hen.
WLC	וְהֶעָרִ֣ים יַהֲרֹ֡סוּ וְכָל־חֶלְקָ֣ה טֹ֠ובָה יַשְׁלִ֨יכוּ אִישׁ־אַבְנֹ֜ו וּמִלְא֗וּהָ וְכָל־מַעְיַן־מַ֤יִם יִסְתֹּ֙מוּ֙ וְכָל־עֵֽץ־טֹ֣וב יַפִּ֔ילוּ עַד־הִשְׁאִ֧יר אֲבָנֶ֛יהָ בַּקִּ֖יר חֲרָ֑שֶׂת וַיָּסֹ֥בּוּ הַקַּלָּעִ֖ים וַיַּכּֽוּהָ׃
Trans.	wəhe‘ārîm yahărōsû wəḵāl-ḥeləqâ ṭwōḇâ yašəlîḵû ’îš-’aḇənwō ûmilə’ûhā wəḵāl-m^a‘əyan-mayim yisətōmû wəḵāl-‘ēṣ-ṭwōḇ yapîlû ‘aḏ-hišə’îr ’ăḇāneyhā baqqîr ḥărāśeṯ wayyāsōbû haqqallā‘îm wayyakûhā:

AC	כה והערים יהרסו וכל חלקה טובה ישליכו איש אבנו ומלאוה וכל מעין מים יסתמו וכל עץ טוב יפילו עד השאיר אבניה בקיר חרשת ויסבו הקלעים ויכוה
ASV	And they beat down the cities; and on every good piece of land they cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the fountains of water, and felled all the good trees, until in Kir-hareseth [only] they left the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.
BE	Pulling down the towns, covering every good field with stones, stopping up all the water-springs, and cutting down all the good trees; they went on driving Moab before them till only in Kir-hareseth were there any Moabites; and the fighting-men went round the town raining stones on it.
Darby	And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone and filled it, and they stopped every well of water, and felled every good tree, until they left [only] the stones at Kirhareseth; and the slingers went about it, and smote it.
ELB05	Und sie rissen die Städte nieder, und auf alle guten Ackerstücke warfen sie ein jeder seinen Stein und füllten sie damit an, und sie verstopften alle Wasserquellen und fällten alle guten Bäume...,bis sie an Kir-Hareseth nur dessen Steine übrigließen. Und die Schleuderer umzingelten und beschossen die Stadt.
LSG	Ils renversèrent les villes, ils jetèrent chacun des pierres dans tous les meilleurs champs et les en remplirent, ils bouchèrent toutes les sources d'eau, et ils abattirent tous les bons arbres; et les frondeurs enveloppèrent et battirent Kir-Haréseth, dont on ne laissa que les pierres.
Sch	Jene aber drangen ins Land ein und schlugen Moab und rissen die Städte nieder und warfen ein jeder seinen Stein auf alle guten Äcker, bis sie voll waren, und verstopften alle Wasserbrunnen und fällten alle guten Bäume, bis in Kir-Hareset nur noch dessen Steinmauern übrigblieben. Und die Schleuderer umzingelten und beschossen es.
